price nett obviously depends on cost of living and forex rate.
For solo traveler, Korea is pretty safe but anything can happen so just be aware of your surrounding. ^^
1. What's the weather like during that time?
2. Without any knowledge of Korean language, will it be easy to navigate around with English alone i.e. the signage, road names romanized?
June is summer, so weather wise is humid and hot.
it's pretty easy to travel if you stick in big cities like Seoul. Major amenities do have English sign.
I'm in the midst of checking with Kelab Umno Korea if they could find Malaysian students who are interested to be personal tourist guide.

The students are not available now. Spring should start now but as my Korean friends told me, it's still cold in Korea.
The cherry blossoms should start from April onwards.

It is unlikely for you to secure less than RM1000/pax for ground arrangement of 7 days.
Per pax of 5 days would be at least RM1,500 if done by Malaysian student.

You can try Jeju Air but so far I have never booked online as it is in Korean. However, if you have Korean friend you can ask them to book it ahead for you.
By bus is pretty far.

Planning to visit Seoul in Jan 2013, boleh recommend good, reliable guesthouse family room for 4 pax with attached bathroom. Preferably yg di Itaewon atau yg hampir dgn Itaewon. Boleh tak suggest ski resort yg berdekatan dengan Seoul. Tqvm
