As per Korea Meteorological Administration said the autumnal tint this year will appear 1~8 days later than usual.
Yatta!!
20% of the mountain is dressed with autumnal tint, we call it "the first foliage", at 80% it is called "the peak foliage time".

Acually I have a question regarding the autumn leaves. I only have one week there and will visit Mt. Sorak. From internet sources, it looks like the foliage may be delayed this year. Do you happen to know of any websites where this kind of information will be released?
I tried looking at the Korea Meteorological Administration, but I am not sure how to read their forecast like you do.
Its quite hard to gauge as the weather has gone hay wired nowadays.
According to my Korean friends who live in Seoul now, the weather has started to cool down preparing for autumn.
As usual, Seorak Mt will start the autumn foliage early than the southern counterparts.
Seorak will start in early to mid October and it moves down to Seoul around early November and when I went to Busan the leaves changed in mid December.
Thanks for the reply. I guess have to leave it to luck than, hopefully won't be too early.
