TOPIK exam is held twice yearly. Once in April and the other in September. The fee is RM80 and it has three levels; Beginner, Intermediate and Advance. Apparently, I will take Beginner level. ^^. It seems tough because you need to write an essay so you have to know the grammar well and memorize as much vocabulary as possible.
For Malaysians , you could register in March 2011 for April placement if you wish to take the exam.

For september Topik Exam, the registration is already closed.
You might have to try again next year for April 2011. Registration will be opened early of March 2011.

I'm sorry for replying on your query too late.
I just went through the TOPIK exam this morning and asked the reception about the exam location.
Unfortunately for the whole peninsular Malaysia, you could only sit for the exam in UKM, Bangi, Selangor.

You could actually attend normal classes in ICLS. I'm not sure if they have preparation class for TOPIK though.

TOPIK test is a general test where anyone could sit for it. So far the korean class in UKM is offered only for UKM students.
Alternatively, you can actually learn for free in Korea Plaza, KL.
